Meet new people without planning the whole night yourself
Events are the next big thing on E-Raiden: small groups meeting at a real place, for a real night out. We're getting them ready, starting with Milan and Lugano.
What they are
Feel like bowling, catching that new movie or grabbing pizza, but nobody to go with? With Events you say so, and other people join you. Or you find a night out that's already set up and jump in.
You pick the vibe
To flirt
A night out to meet someone you might click with.
To make friends
New people to laugh and talk with, and maybe see again.
A bit of both
Go out, see where it goes. No pressure.
Two ways to go out
Blind
All you see is the day, the time, the area, the kind of night and how many people are coming. We tell you the venue a few hours before, and you meet the people when you get there. A little mystery, no photos to overthink.
Open
You know from the start where you're going and who's organizing. Pick the night that sounds right and sign up.
Either way, it always takes place in a public venue.
Who organizes
You
Choose the day, time, area and group size. You book the venue and confirm it before the night: if you don't, the event is cancelled and everyone gets a heads-up.
Venues
Partner bars, restaurants, bowling alleys and cinemas put on ready-made nights, with the table already booked.
The E-Raiden team
We'll host nights out too, especially at the start, to get the first events going in each city.
How it will work
Four steps. No group chats to herd, no endless back and forth to agree on a plan.
Pick or create an event
Browse nights out near you, or suggest one yourself.
If you match what the event asks for (age, language, interests), you're in. The first people who match get the spots.
The event is confirmed
Once enough people have signed up, the night is on for everyone.
See you there
Show up, say hi, enjoy the night. The next day, tell us how it went.
Group size
Events created by members need at least 4 people: for example a group of 4 (2 and 2) or 6 (3 and 3). Nights put on by venues and by our team can be bigger.
Bring a friend
A bit nervous going alone? Sign up together with a friend, as long as they're on E-Raiden too. In a group of 4, for example: the two of you plus two more.
Well-mixed groups
For bigger nights, the organizer can ask for a minimum number of people of each gender, say at least 2 men and at least 2 women. That way nobody ends up the odd one out, and the night works better for everyone.
People you can count on
A group night only works if people show up. So we've kept the rules simple, and they don't punish anyone for the odd surprise.
You can always cancel
Change of plans? Just drop out. The sooner you do, the more time the others have to fill your spot.
One wildcard a month
Life happens. Once a month you can cancel at the last minute, no strings attached.
Reliability
Cancel often in the last 24 hours and your reliability goes down. For some nights, the organizer may ask for a minimum reliability.
How did it go?
After the night we'll ask for some quick feedback: a 1 to 5 rating of how enjoyable it was and, if you like, a reason picked from a list. Kind ones, like «not much chemistry» or «different interests». No insults, no comments on looks.
Your average rating only counts after a few nights out: newcomers are always welcome.
Safety
Public places only
Bars, restaurants, cinemas, bowling alleys. Never private homes.
Verified profile
Joining an event will require a verified profile.
Reporting
If something feels off, before, during or after the night, you can report it to our team.
Who pays for what
You pay at the venue, like on any night out: everyone pays for what they order. No payments go through the app. If a venue's night comes with a set menu, you'll see it clearly before you sign up.
FAQ
When do Events start?
Soon. We're starting with Milan and Lugano. Leave your email below and we'll write as soon as there's a first night out in your city.
Do I need an E-Raiden account?
Yes, you'll need a verified E-Raiden profile to take part. The friend you bring along will need one too.
Does blind mean I won't know where I'm going?
You always know the day, the time and the area. We'll tell you the exact venue a few hours before, and it's always a public place.
Can I go just to make friends?
Of course. Every event says what it's for: flirting, making friends, or both. Pick the one that suits you.
What if I can't make it?
Just cancel your spot. You get one wildcard a month for last-minute surprises; only people who often cancel in the last 24 hours see their reliability go down.
What if the event doesn't fill up?
If not enough people sign up, the event isn't confirmed and everyone who joined is told in good time.
Events are coming soon
Tell us where you live and we'll let you know when the first night out near you is on.
Optional. We use it only to count how many of us there are in each area, and to write to you when there are enough of us in yours.
Tick at least one of the two boxes: without one, we would have nothing to send you.
We write only about what you ticked, you get one confirmation email, and you can unsubscribe from every message. The address you leave goes to GiBSeS OÜ, the Estonian company behind E-Raiden. Emails are sent through Resend, a provider based in the USA; the privacy policy explains how that transfer is protected. We keep it for as long as you want to hear from us: every email carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough. What we do with your data
